President's Message
As the President of New York International School, I would like to share some experiences regarding Cambodia.

New York International School was persistently founded with a small capital in 1996, which was then New York City Center.

This Center was established in response to the actual need of the country as well as to contribute to the national development for at the time our Kingdom of Wonder has just recovered from protracted civil war and was not fully in peace.

During the period, educational sector played a crucial role in reeducating people according to the real situation – the high-educated persons teach less educated persons and the less educated persons teach the illiterate persons.

Having seen such a condition, I decided to found New York City Center so as to advance educational sector and to make it easy for the learners to absorb knowledge for their own sake and for the sake of the nation.

Having supported by the learners from all walks of life, New York City Center has been changed its name to New York City Institute in 1999 and New York International School in 2004.

I strongly believe that New York International School would keeps playing its vital roles with the Royal Government of Cambodia in human resources development by providing the real knowledge to Cambodian Children who are the pillar of nation.
