NYIS′s Background
New York International School was founded by Dr. Chea Sokheang in 1996, which was New York City Center (NCC). Then in 1999, the school was named New York City Institute (NCI), and New York International School in 2004.

Owing to its quality education, and its wide ranges of school curriculums, NYIS has been recognized and supported by most parents and guardians, making it establish more branches either in Phnom Penh and in some potential provinces such as Siem Reap, Kampong Cham, Kampomg Thom and Prey Veng (Neak Leung East Bank).
